My name is Herry Prihamdani. Most people call me Herry. I work as a children's books illustrator. Born in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, and have lived there ever since. I’ve always been interested in illustration, children's books, and visual storytelling. Besides loving cats and pets, I am obsessed with animals! I love animals and dinosaurs!
I went on to graduate with a graphic design major in multimedia design and communication sciences. My strengths as an artist lie in a professional practice focused on 2D images, and I am proficient in digital painting using Adobe Photoshop.
My illustrations are influenced by childhood wonder, animal life, memories with family, friendship stories, adventure, and magical fairy tales. That's why I love to make children's picture books. I wish to share beautiful illustrations with great stories for children worldwide. I like to see the smiling faces of children when they read picture books, it warms my heart.
